A screen proof is not a press sign-off
hextocmyk.com shows how a HEX or RGB color may separate into process inks on coated and uncoated stock. It is a prepress aid. It is not a contract proof, a press OK, or a promise that your shop RIP will use the same numbers.
Paper, ink batch, dot gain, and the printer's ICC profile all move the printed chip. Proof on the stock you are buying. If a brand color is critical, ask the printer for a drawdown instead of trusting the monitor.
Tolerances, swatches, and trademarks
CIEDE2000 figures describe distance from our reference chips. A match inside a stated band can still fail a client's own standard. You are responsible for the numbers you send to print and for the tolerance you agreed.
Adobe Swatch Exchange files you download are process CMYK builds for your own production files. You may import them into Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or Affinity. Do not resell the library as a stand-in for a licensed color system.

The site and the extension
The pages and the HexToCMYK Chrome extension are provided as they are, without a warranty that they fit a particular press. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for reprint costs or rejected files that follow from relying on a screen simulation alone.
